What You'll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments for adult and pediatric patients, collaborating with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia plans.
- Administer a variety of anesthesia techniques, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC), to ensure patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
- Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and respond to intraoperative emergencies to maintain patient well-being throughout the surgical process.
- Provide post-anesthetic care and recovery support, ensuring a smooth transition for patients following surgery.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other surgical team members to promote patient safety and a positive surgical experience.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, anesthesia care plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the EPIC electronic medical records system.
Who You Are:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia (required).
- Current and active license to practice in Washington (only).
- National Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) (required).
- Current ACLS certification (required).
- A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered anesthesia care in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
